Someone also told me of $33,000 and apartment in South Korea teaching english.
Eat the food, use the wrong verbs, and end up getting charged double.

Is that what Sickboy was doing? Wasn’t he teaching English in South Korea?
a friend of mines brother has a deal like this in Japan teaching english the money is good and the girls are loose.
Also take a look at the Jet Program (http://www.jetprogra…). More difficult to get into, but very legit.
Reykjavik, London, Paris, Berlin, Lviv, Odessa, Bat'umi, Akhalts'ikhe, Tbilisi, Telavi, Kayseri, Pamukkale, Kusadasi, Istanbul

So they all get A’s?
More ideas?

From what I understand, Korea is pretty difficult to live in but you can save much more $$$ there due to the higher salaries + lower cost of living. But the quality of life is poor at best.
Japan’s an expensive place to live, so it’s a bit harder to get by on a teachers salary. Plus in Japan you often have to find your own accomodations (in Korea the employer generally lines it up for you), and they have insane key deposits you’ve got to put down before renting. But kiwirob is right on both accounts.
Taiwan is another option, one can make some good coin here and the taiwanese are much easier to deal with than the koreans.
Thailand is the place where people go for a high quality of life, but you’ll barely eke by on what you’ll make there.
Those with experience go to Saudi to make the real $$$. But those are you’re primary options with no teaching experience.
Something to think about. Many white americans go to asia to teach english only to find themselves live on CNN in shackles being marched into a tribunary being charged with some pedophilia-related offense. I’m not sure if that’s the goal originally or if it’s something in the Asian water thats making them this way
pedophilia is a cultural thing there… or something like that.
if you really look deep into the topic its actualy very confusing.
usualy its the tourists that get picked off. the teachers are fine.
