Bsically, what I need is a o/w flight to Istanbul (preferably from Amsterdam – although would consider almost anywhere in Europe) around the 29th or 3oth of March.  Have checked many websites, search engines, but haven’t really found anything reasonable.

Thanks for that – had prerviously checked into that, but the discount airlines seem to arrive at an un-godly hour!!!  Besides that, it appears that Komfly is actually Onur Air, which has been previously banned from many European airports due to their poor safety record.  So what I would like would be a flight on a major carrier – any good ideas???

The cheapest flights showing at mobissimo.com are Turkish Air, purchased through cheaptickets.com

Ok, so I checked for you again via Whichbudget, and it points to TicketPot.com and Corendon.com. Looks like they’re both selling the same flights for these dates (CAI856). Leaving 30th at 2:15 p.m. and arriving 7:00 p.m. TicketPot coming in at €159, and Corendon coming in at €134. I don’t think Onur Air and Corendon are the same (but I could be wrong). http://en.wikipedia….

Turkish Airlines comes up at $237 o/w; KLM at €574.

I also ran it through BookingBuddy and don’t see anything better.
I tried www.kelkoo.nl ‘s flight search and best it found is the Turkish Air flight (€180, basically the same $237 found earlier).
Zuji.com’s list of cheapest published fares has Turkish Air at $172+tax (o/w).
Schiphol.com the airport homepage sometimes has specials, but nothing cheaper than what we’ve already found this time.
I also checked Kelkoo.nl’s holiday flight search. Best is €134 based on 2 travelling together (I believe we already found that one—but priced per person—above).

I don’t think you’re going to do better than €134 for this one, if Corendon is o.k. for you.
