Hey I’m pretty new here. This would be my first trip so I havew no idea what I’m doing. I would like to plan it for the summer of 2011. 2 years away but still I would like to get a basic Idea of what to do in the UK. I would like to visit Ireland, England and Scottland. I deffinatly want to hit Dublin, London(and the surrounding areas) and Edinburgh. Is there any way to see some of each country and have a smooth transition between them? I’d be going for 4-5 weeks and I was thinking of flying into either London and then going around England then up to scottland and make my way over to Ireland. Or Flying into Dublin and then going up the west coast of England into scottland and then making my way back down to london. Any Advice? I’m pretty cluless when it comes to this… Thanks

I am leaving from New York or Newark with $3000 for 32 days
Cork, Dublin, Douglas, Glasgow, Edinburgh, London, Salisbury, Paris
Requesting help with Transport, Hostels, Budget, Itinerary, Nightlife, Food, Sights

One suggestion:
Fly into London, make a southwest loop, cross Wales, take the ferry to Ireland, loop northwest, then east over to Scotland, then travel back south into England, flying home from London.
With 4 or 5 weeks, you can make a nice trip of it.
Of course, as you do your research and decide what you really want to see, this might have an effect on your travel plans.
