Hiking in November
Mon, 07/26/2004 - 08:06
Good morning everyone,
At first, my plan was to hike in Scotland in September. Alas, I was just told by my boss that vacation time during that month would be verbotten this year. It seems that November is the only time I can get away. I suspect Scotland in November would be rather wet. Any place to recommend for someone would wants to do a bit of hiking in November???
Cheers,
Fitz

Hi there Fitz,
I think november should still be ok; just take cautions that it could rain or snow at any moment, so take warm cloth and jacket. I’ve never hiked in Scotland but the temperatures could drop seriously and the fog could be also a pb.
If you plan to camp, take (buy) an warm sleeping bag and all should be OK.
Best wishes !

Thanks for the feedback. It is much appreciated!

Fitz — this sounds like such a great trip— I’d love to hear about it when you get back!
Will do cutiepijones. Have a great weekend (here in Canada it is a long weekend)!
Cheers,
Fitz
