hostels in Rome

Hello!
I just wonder if you could share some information about best places (hostels, B&B, cheap hotels) to stay in Rome. I’ve been there for several times, but still haven’t managed to find a really fine place to stay.
What about eating out, which are your approved places? .
When going around I usually use car hire (most often Decode it’s a discovery for me because of their prices, really affordable ones ) since I know Rome roads quite well and usually going for some days out of the city.
I will really appreciate your opinions and tips. Rome is my favourite European capital and I want to keep exploring it.

One of the best hotels in Rome is Veio Park Hotel. This hotel provided good value for moneyThe room was clean and comfortable, showers were working properly and the air conditioner was silent and in perfect health. The staff was also quite helpful with respect to providing guidance for our itinerary.

It depends on what you mean by cheap but Hotel Italia, a 10 minute walk north west of Termini, was just €40 per night when I stayed there last January. Had I waited until early January to book I would’ve had a better deal as they, like many hotels in Rome, started offering 3 nights for the price of 2. The hotel is fairly basic, but it is clean, with 24 hour reception and helpful staff. I was relieved to find this place as it seemed like at least 90% of reasonably priced hotels in Rome get very poor reviews.
Hmm…my link didn’t work. Anyway, I’ve just looked at Hotel Italia’s site and it seems their prices have gone up considerably: €55 per night for a single room throughout January.
The single, economic room at Hotel Julia is a pretty good deal in the off-season. See www.hoteljulia.it .
This hotel, bookable from the bookings tab on this site, is very nice and sometimes has cheap specials. It’s a couple of blocks from Termini. http://www.eurotrip….
Guys…, Thank very much for the information…
