I’m planning on going on a trip and i haven’t decided if i want to go for two months or one, do you think one month is enough to see everything? Also how big of a backpack do i need to take and how much clothes should i bring? I mean you can only fit so much in a backpack! And also how do i know how much money to take? I don’t drink or anything, so i just need money for transportation, food, and sleeping accomodations. How much does all that stuff cost, and is there anything that i’m missing?

As you can tell, i need a lot of advice!!

A life time isn’t enough to “see everything.”

Bring about 1 to 1 1/2 weeks worth of clothes — that’s assuming you wear things other than underwear and socks more than once.  Buy a pack that you can comfortably carry when it’s full.

Buget:
1.  The cost of your plane ticket (try orbitz or expedia for a rough guess)
2.  The cost of a global eurail pass for the amount of  time you choose — you probably won’t want to buy the pass, but it will be a good estimate of what you’ll spend on trains, planes, ferries and buses between cities.
3.  $ 75  US per day for hostels, food (eating from kiosks and markets and the occasional cheap cafe), local transportation, laundry plus $300 cushion for emergencies.
