Iberia from US? are they that bad?
Fri, 03/20/2009 - 19:58
Has anyone ever flown from Chicago or any other US city to Spain on Iberia. I was looking through some reviews and everyone is horrible? Pretty much every review said they were the worst airline and that they would never fly Iberia again. Any reviews, thoughts or comments would be great. thank you. Flying Chicago to Madrid and then Berlin to Madrid to Chicago.
I am leaving from chicago with $3500 for 17 days
Madrid, Barcelona, Zürich, Munich, Vienna, Prague, Berlin

If the price is good, I’d fly them. If competitors were similarly-priced, and I’m not already booked, I’d consider them instead. Stuck with Iberia, I’d minimize checked baggage, read up on their terms and conditions, and lower my expectations for service so I might have some pleasant surprises along the way. However, this is true for all airlines these days, isn’t it?!
