Right now im in the midst of trying to plan a trip to europe next summer for a month, and am trying different itinerarys to see which would work the best. this one i really like but would like some feed back from people who have gone to these places. i would like to know if i have alloted enough time for each city or if i have gave to much time with some, or if there is other cities or towns in this area i should visit. any opinions or feed back of he trip would be greatly appreciated!
So heres the plan…..(just using june as an example not sure when the 30 days wil be)

London 23-30
Im leaving week in london but may use it to tour a bit of the sourounding area, or leave these as spare days to add on to other cities. I would like to spend 3 full days in london though. Thank you in advance any ideas or comments would be very welcome

I think you have a fairly reasonable schedule. You might drop one or two places from your list just because three days in every place is not very much. Keep in mind that you’ll have jet-lag on the 1st which really only leaves you with two days in Munich which is a sin as far as I’m concerned. You need another day or two there at a bare minimum. Anny reason you want to go to Salzburg? Definitely utilize the overnight trains so you aren’t wasting your days traveling.

Holy crap just realized I told you to cut Salzburg…I meant Vienna! I haven’t been to Vienna but haven’t heard anything overwhelmingly positive about it. That post says I wrote that at 8pm but I’m positive it was closer to 4am my time lol. Guess I was a little tired! Honestly I don’t think the “loop” is an issue. I think you’re route is well thought out. Traveling Europe is rarely a straight line. You double back sometimes and plans change. I think your trip is going to be a great deal of fun. It is well thought out.

I agree with Vienna…beautiful architecture, Freud used to live there…and hmmm…that’s about it. Expensive and a bit underwhelming. Salzburg is a beautiful city. Most people don’t go to Austria for the cities but rather to experience the incredible mountain scenary. Wjhat about Innsbruck?

I have budgeted $3000

2 hear, 3 days there. why not focus your trip more on one area of europe and really spend a lot of time exploring the area? There’s more to austria than vienna and salzburg and way more to holland than getting high in amsterdam. I thnk you spread your month out way too much.
