I came out of uni in the early 90s recession and it was tough job market then, but not as bad as now. Keep networking, and chin-up; you’ll find something. Remember to communicate your secondary skills and qualifications as well. First jobs are usually not dream jobs. Have you considered working for yourself—starting your own business?
@mb: what are you looking for? do you have a web based resume? where are you located?

Thanks Don.
Swill, I’m stuck in Mississippi. I’m not able to move yet. My resume is on usajobs.gov where I’m trying for an IT specialist position. Very wide range there. My resume is on collegecentral.com as well.
I just got the Computer Science degree and I have a Business degree from 1983.
I’d really like a job with the government. Good benefits and normal hours. I’d think with two degrees I could do better than most.
Eat the food, use the wrong verbs, and end up getting charged double.
Ya I probably won’t be of much help then. I get more web contracts sent my way than I can handle, so I figured I would see if that was your cup of tea…
