hi
i checked the site you told me. I have to take like three different trains ( 8 hours trip) but i was told that liverpool is only 2.5 hours is there a quick way to get there???
I just checked the site and got 5 different options from London to Liverpool that were all around 2 1/2 hours, 3 were direct trains (no changes) and 2 had one connection. Only way it could take 8 hours and have 3 connections would be if you were trying something wierd like leaving London at midnight.

Have you looked at http://www.nationale… ?
Bus travel. Takes a bit longer but quite a cheap way to get around in the UK. (certainly compared to the ridiculously overpriced traintravel)
Have a look at getting the megabus. www.megabus.(either co.uk or com).
Its £10 from London to Liverpool or vice versa.
It takes around 5hrs but if your looking to save money, and see a bit of the English countryside then its worthwhile.
