What’s the fastest/cheapest way to travel from London to cities like Wiltshire/Salisbury (to see Stonehenge)? Train/bus/taxi. I am thinking bus and then the 2 mile walk. Anybody that has done this before, tell me what it’s like.
Also, offer any suggestions on what else I can do for the few days I am spending in this part of the UK.

I am leaving from Chicago, IL, USA with $7000 for 30 days
Dublin, Paris, Rouen, Arromanches-les-Bains, Antibes, Èze, Venice, Florence, Pisa, Rome, Bari, Corfu, Igoumenitsa, Kalampáka, Athens, Delphi
Requesting help with Transport, Hostels, Budget, Itinerary, Nightlife, Food, Sights

Bus and walk is probably cheapest, but I’m not sure how you’d manage the walking part. Train to Salisbury plus bus (buses leave from the train station and are timed to mesh with the train schedule from London) is definitely easiest. I think I’d spend the few pounds to bus from Salisbury in any case.
