Hi,

I’m planning on going to Madrid from the beginning of December until the middle of January. I will be flying out of Los Angeles. I was wondering what a good fare would be. I’ve seen flights around $805 but I don’t know if they will get much lower than that.

Thanks for your help

Any chance you’re a student? If so, STA has it for $740. Otherwise I don’t see anything cheaper at the moment.

I am no longer a student. I just don’t whether prices will go down from the $805 I’ve seen or if I should just get it now.

Thanks.

They might. In past years they have. But fuel prices are relatively high currently, and capacities have been cut, so $800 on this route doesn’t seem out of line with current Fall/Winter pricing.

Be sure to sign up for fare alerts with Farecompare and/or Airfarewatchdog. Have you tried consolidators, and the other tips in our new user thread? (at top of this forum)
