I introduced this forum with this upgrade. The point of this section is to keep everyone in the community up to date with major changes that happen on the website.

This upgrade was MASSIVE, so I will not give a detailed list of the changes, only a short list of some of the major changes.

• Subscriptions have been almost completely rewritten. You will not notice much of a difference in the forum and such, but your management interface has been dramatically improved. Your management UI is in the top right menu (your user menu). If you have questions please let me know…
• The Forum has also gotten a lot of attention. I have rewritten a lot of the interface and improved some of the layout. I have also improved the look of the comments by adding buttons as well as allowing you to send private messages from the forum without leaving the page. You will notice you also have buddylist controls in the comments as well.
• Comments have now been standardized. You will notice that the comments now look the same across the site. So forum comments and travelogue comments will be displayed the same with the same features.
• Private Messaging has been completely rewritten to give a much cleaner interface and some improved features. The major feature that was added is the ability to send the same private messages to multiple people. This was a feature we lost when we changed to this new software, so now you have it back.
• I fixed a major bug that caused IE to throw an error on the front page of the site. I apologize that I did not find that bug sooner. I don’t use IE, so if you find bugs like that please let me know so I can fix them.
• I also added a Hostel Booking Widget to the front page, so it will be easier to check hostel availability and to book from there…
