Montreal trip
Tue, 05/24/2011 - 07:55
I am planning to go to Montreal as a senior trip, but I need some help.
How much should each member of my party have (3 confirmed, possible 4th). I’m coming from MD, so AAA says it’ll cost about 240 in gas (roundtrip). I also need hotel help. I’m assuming at best we will get a hotel 200-250 a night. We plan on staying 4 nights in July.
So far the costs I have for each person is 80 (gas) + 266-333 (hotel) = 346 to 413 per person (3 people). With that said, would 600 be enough for 4 nights for each person? We plan on clubbing and such.
Furthermore, can someone help me with hotels? I’m hoping we can get one for 150-200 a night instead. Any advice?
Thanks

Check Thebiddingtravel.com for Priceline strategies and advice on snagging good hotel deals. Check hotels prices with Skyscanner.com before bidding — to be sure you don’t overbid on something. Are you sure you don’t want a hostel instead?
Check STAtravel.com, StudentUniverse.com, and Travelcuts.com for flights and hotels. When you consider parking and tolls, flights might win out.
Why would you think flights would be cheaper. Flights are at 300 per person round trip (if I’m really really really really really lucky). Car is 80 per person round trip. Will tolls and parking really cost 220 plus?
Because I have seen them cheaper. Good luck.
How cheap have you seen them before?

$160.
$160.
that’s already too expensive, considering that the driving price is split 3 ways while plane tickets, we each need our own. We really can’t afford to pay for convenience.
