What the heck is Mutters? Well, I hope I have not posted this before, but I was just thinking about my time in Mutters and had to go online and post something.
My friends and I went to Innsbruck, hit the street car (tram) outside the train station, and took it up the mountain for about 30 minutes.
We stayed at a great hostel (more like a bed and breakfast) and got to know others as well as the owners. In 2001 Let’s Go, Titti’s Hostel (might be in the Innsbruck section), got a thumb’s up and for good reason. Titti told my friends and I where to hike. Although we got a little off the beaten path, our short hike turned into the best 5 hour hike ever. I cannot tell you where we went or where we ate, but I can tell you that the hiking in that area of Switzerland is beyond words.
Give it a shot.
Happy Trails,
Rick
