yeah.. i’m 18, he was an exchange student at my school for the first half of last year. we liked each other but nothing really happened cause i had a boyfriend and we knew he would eventually go home. but, in november he came back for two weeks to go to our graduation and we ended up going to our formal together. it was supposed to be a surprise but i found out he was coming the night before hehe. but he had to get back to school because, despite us being the same age, he doesnt graduate until next year (stupid german schools). anyway after him bugging me to come to germany i finally decided i had to go and i’m going over in october. i want to travel all around europe for a few months so i’ll try to see him on some weekends or whenever he has holidays… hopefully we can spend christmas together!

Thats a great storey!
The guy that I know.. I met him in Barcelona and only knew him for 1 night and our whole relationship until last week was based on that. I’ve seen him in the flesh for a total of 9 days of my life. It’s pretty crazy.

it’s crazy but so exciting… doesnt it amaze you how you can feel so strongly about a person after such little time spent together? i love how the world is so random like that… i mean if you had never been to barcelona, none of this would have happened… i bet you’re glad you went

Hell yes I’m glad I went!

I appreciate the randomness of it all!

This is random, but I have been thinking about a ‘missed connection’ that I had in London last summer, so I thought I’d post it.

I was riding the underground with my headphones on. I had to stand because there were no seats. Anyway, I was standing close to this family of 5. The two sons were looking at me and then talking to each other somewhat discretly. When the train stopped at Victoria station they all got off. As the whole family dragged their luggage up the stairs.. the oldest brother held back for a second and glanced back at the train. Looked me in the eye through the window and smiled with a curious look on his face. The doors chimed and i smiled back, we pulled away and then stood there. I debated going back.. i was trying to talk myself into it. He was really cute. It took me 7 stops to get the guts to get off and go back the other way. I wrote him a note with my email. I went all the way back to Victoria station and looked around nervously, but they were gone. I missed that connection! I’m still glad I went back.. or I’d be wondering "what if.."

Hi Logan!
I just read your story and let me tell you that I completely understand you how you felt all the time until you found Valery..hope everything is fine for you…I say this because something similar happen to me!..I met an italian boy in Italy in a pub and I felt we were really connected and he was very nice with me..unfortunately I lost his phone number and couldn’t contact him again…since then I started to look for him..and every day I was wondering how it would be if only I wouldn’t have lost his number..I tried to find him in several ways…many of my friends laught at me, also thinking that I was crazy, that I should forget him..but I never lost the hope..as you thought..I wanted to have the chance at least to see him again, I just wanted to see him happy and have the chance to tell him why I couldn’t call him again..tell him that it was due to a silly mistake and not because I didn’t care of him…and listen after 3 months I found him!..but I wish I could say that this story had a happy end as yours..but unfortunately i can’t..anyway, I am very happy of having found him..and wish him all the best.
wish you all the best and also for the ones that sometimes felt it was worth to follow a dream..nevertheless it seemed difficult to reach..
kisses,

logan

Hey, what can i say,
the thing is that you gave it a try and you
found this guy, and like Zacshliegh
says, things happen for a reason.

But imagine if you didn’t, you would be
asking your self "what if".

Don’t worry you’ll find someone who will
apriciate you and love you for who you are,
the thing is never give up.

This has been "the Doctor of love"
stay tuned for more advice, hahahaha!!!
