I find that flights in general are cheaper during the week.

Lastminute.com is coming to over 500 USD. I cannot find anything cheaper. Has anyone seen anything else?

It might be worth a phone call/visit to a travel agent that specializes in tours/travel to US. They might be able to find you a seat on a charter or maybe even have some ideas on working out your problem with BA.

I think the weekday options are much better than the high prized weekend options if you well manage your schedule…try it…

Thank you,
After calling up everyone, I realised that getting a RT is the same as a OneWay. Really sad. #
I have ended up purchasing my ticket directly from Virgin. #
Cost: 262.00 GBP RT

Only Asda Travel was cheaper but they have a funny online system where they do not provide an contact numbers and all correspondence as to be over emails.
After 2-3 days, they did call back this morning. Little too late.
