I’ve read conflicting versions if smoking will or will not be allowed in the tents this year. I know the law has been put into effect, but I am reading both yes and no for the Wiesn. Does anybody know what the real answer is, or if there hasn’t been a determination yet? I know in NJ smoking is banned at all indoor facilities, with the exception of casinos in Atlantic City; just wondering?
This thread is not to start a debate about whether or not smoking bothers you in the tent, whether or not you smoke, whether or not you find it offensive nor a forum to spew facts about how bad smoking or second hand smoke is for someone’s health…. I’m just looking for some info for the ’08 Wiesn’

They have talked about this, floated rumors, and printed confilcting reports in the Munchen Newspapers for the past 3 years. I have not heard definitavely that they will BAN Cigs as of yet!

Why do I ask? Because I’d like to know if I can smoke as I please throughout the day, while guzzling the most delicious beer in the world, in between dancing on tables and “prosting” with new friends, like I’ve done for the past 3 years…... Is that sufficient enough of a reason?
