Rick Steves travel guide vids on Hulu
Wed, 03/17/2010 - 21:59
I just discoverd the Rick Steves channel on Hulu: http://www.hulu.com/… His style is a bit geeky, but he does give interesting and informative 30-minute video primers for many locales across Europe — and some good budget travel tips. The couple of vids I just sampled seem to be updated since the PBS series that was very popular about 10 years ago.

Good find, some of the videos are as new as 2008. Others are as old as 2000, but they’re still helpful and interesting.
— and thanks for spam removal on the lindadorsett post. Thanks for sharing that.
Ah, the Peloponnese. Some day…
He’s a dork but he can be helpful.
Check out “Three Sheets” while you’re on Hulu. It’s a different kind of travel show altogether.
Rick Steves and the Smithsonian have teamed up on a new travel magazine… http://microsite.smi…
I wish the smithsonian and Rick Steves would team up together for eternity.
YAY!
It’ll be interesting to see if this new magazine takes on the sophistication of the current Smithsonian Magazine, or if it ends up being more like Rick Steeves: limited, cutesy, and horrible.
Smithsonian: get out of this deal while you still can!
