I am posting this even after doing a search to answer my questions. The search brought up several good pieces of info, but most were rather old. So, I am bringing this subject into the year 2001.

I am considering buying the Rick Steves bag and daypack (http://www.ricksteve…). That is 2500 cu.inches plus the daypack that is 900 cu.inches.

My trip is 2 months and I am a light packer. Does anyone have any useful comments (advice, criticism, etc) about the Rick Steves’ bags? Anything you have to say about the convenience of it, the loading style, the compartments, the comfort, room for souvenirs picked up along the way, etc?

Thanks for the help,
Rick
