Been sailing in the Stockholm archipelago yesterday, July, 6th, 2009.
Leaving from Åkersberga by noon, we got good wind, reaching up to 10 knots. Beating up-wind, the boat leaning probably more than 35 degrees and some adrenaline. All were enjoying the wind after Saturday being really calm, as I’ve been told by my colleague.

We were heading for the island of Grinda, without intention to step down on the island. As we only had few hours, we fortunately reached the island of Sippson quite fast. As it was already 2 p.m. and we wanted to be back in the harbor by 4, we decided to turn around and head back. However, this time the wind was not good anymore, with periods of absolute calm. It took us more than half an hour to cross the commercial route and go on the north part , where the wind seemed to be slightly better. Indeed, the wind was better, but not lasting. Trying to go half-wind worked for a while, but then the wind stopped again. As it was getting late, we decided to turn on the engine and head for the harbor.
We reached the harbor by 4:45 and, as everything was prepared, head back to Stockholm
