Should we close the Pub?

I’m putting this here instead of Comments or Mod Discussion because, well, just because.
The Pub originally came about when discussion was overflowing from Favorite Places.
The Pub had a good run for a few years, but the crickets have been chirping here for awhile.
What about just returning some of that banter back to Favorite Places?
We can re-title Favorite Places if necessary.
We now have the Eurotrips forum for specifics. We can continue planning trips in Favorite Trips, but maybe informal discussion should be there as well.
Thoughts?

I think it has outlived its usefulness; it should be ‘put down’ gently.
I wouldn’t corrupt the Favorite Places topic with some of the Garbage some people post

It’s true that Favorite Places still fulfills a function and we don’t want too many distractions there.
I’m just not sure that the Pub we used to enjoy will ever be replicated.
It doesn’t hurt anything by being here. Take it away and it’ll never come back. I also think some of the problems have been related to the extreme slowness of the site. This seems to have been fixed so give people the opportunity to find out.

Don’t close the pub per say, have a lock in !
Leave it alone. If you lock it down, you can never get more traffic. The site is faster now so that should help.
