sleeping pad or not?

Im planning a 48days europe trip and I am wondering if I should bring a sleeping pad for couch surfing. If yes, do you have model to recommend me?

I would only bring a sleeping pad if I were planning to sleep on the ground — camping. It might be good to bring a sleepsheet.

I would also go for a sleeping pad, much comfortable I find it.
