Study Abroad in Ireland
Sat, 03/14/2009 - 13:10
I am studying abroad for the semester in Cork, Ireland. In two weeks I will be going to Europe for spring break and I was wondering if I could use by Bank of Ireland card to take out money from the atms over there? I’d rather use my BoI card than bring a bunch of euros from my account in Ireland with me….
Thanks!

Check our “packing” forum. That’s where the questions about money, ATM’s, exchange, etc. are posted. Use your BoI account and withdraw from the ATM’s, that will be safer and cheaper than carrying and exchanging large amounts of cash. Your BoI ATM card should work at just about any ATM in Europe.
haha whoops, thanks for replying even though the question is in the wrong place, I appreciate it! Although I’d be willing to answer any questions about Study Abroad in Ireland since I have been here in Cork for 3 months now : )
Exactly where you can find that info?
What did you study there? and what study possibilities are there?
Riga, Stockholm, Oslo, Bergen
Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted.
Do I need to have an English test before a study in Ireland?
jasmine
The test is only a means of checking your level of English so that they can place you in the right class.
Yes can use ATM card in the UK
