I have a Cannon DSLR camera that I mainly use while SCUBA diving. Now I’m taking a trip back to Europe, and am going to leave the underwater casing with some family over there while I meet up with some friends and we go backpacking around Europe for three weeks or so. I would like to take my camera with me, but am unsure of how it would work. Obviously I would need another bag, but would I need to have this bag strapped to me along with my main backpack, and how would I carry it like that, or would it be better for me to strap it to the backpack? I really want to take the camera, but I’m not sure how to make it be the smallest burden possible while taking it. Any help would be much appreciated.
