Yes, but I’m pretty sure our troops were in Saudi Arabia because it was an allied country and was the perfect "central" place to coordinate the war efforts in Kuwait and Baghdad. Bin Laden’s objections were about our being infidels treading on holy soil.

The troops weren’t there to protect Israel, they were there to keep Saddam out of Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. I think Israel can beat just about any nation in the region. Is it true that they have the best airforce in the world?
