1. You need to be a lot more specific. Is your itinerary just these 3 cities?
2. If you only have 14 days for this trip, do you really want to spend 10 of them on the train? For a 14 day trip, a 5 day flexi or select pass will be more than enough. You’re really only going to be taking 3 trains, so 3 days would cover it.
3. I’d look for a cheap flight (see our “cheap flights” forum for tips) from Madrid to Paris and maybe from Paris to Berlin.

Actually, three cities is a pretty good itinerary for 14 days. You could take interesting day trips from any of the three cities you mentioned in the unlikely event you got bored in any of them. If you really want to hit those 3 cities in 14 days, I’d be looking for one flight and using an overnight train for the other leg. I don’t think a railpass will save money for this itinerary.

Then pick 3 base cities that are closer together.

A eurail pass is not good on Eurostar, the chunnel train. It does provide a discount, but that will only be helpful if you’re over 25 and have to buy an adult eurail pass.

It will be easy to do what you want by train, but I think using base cities and taking the train to smaller locales for day trips is a more comfortable way to travel — especially if you really do want to see the 3 cities you’ve mentioned. You don’t spend 2 hours finding, getting to, checking in and getting settled in new lodgings every day or 2.

Speaking English only won’t be a problem on this trip and you won’t even be aware of border crossings. There will be no passport checks or anything other than arrival in Europe and departure from Europe.
