Hi,
Me and my brother (both earky 20’s) are looking to travel Europe from late July til the money runs out basically. We have about £1000 each and are undecided where to go.
We looking at getting a rail pass for 5 in 10 days to cover start and then just winging it as we go on.
Any ideas for where to go, what best way to travel etc…
We want to go for at least a month and perhaps end up in Germany fo Oktoberfest
Any Ideas
Daz.

Do you have any specific questions?
I suppose I was wondering how far our budget would sustain us.
The plan so far is Liverpool to London then eurostar to Lille and then Belgium. After that we were just going to play it by ear. Possibly southern France, Spain and Portugal. The one place were both keen on tho is Germany for Oktoberfets.
Do you reckon our budget would keep us going for that long? Or would we need to try and earn a bit extra along the way?
It’s not so much your budget that concerns me. It’s your time contraints.
Do you live in Liverpool?
Hi Dazzler, The budget should not be a problem as far as you constraint yourselves on the expenses and it also depend on the stays that you are going to make.Do consider a cheaper hotel to make your stay(cheaper does not mean that its not worth…your stay….but just to manage your budget). Here is a list http://www.sletoh.co… to the hotels in Portugal…so that you can get a glimpse of the future expenses for you can also consider to make a new search for the list of accommodation in Europe.
Yeah I’m based in Liverpool.
We’ve pretty much decided from looking through the site that were just going to book the first week or so and then play it by ear to were we, where other people we meet recomend etc..
Thanks for the help by the way.
