I picked up a copy of Use-It Copenhagen and have to say it is excellent for cost-conscious travellers. It recommends day-by-day itineraries, has scouted out great shopping and eating tips, and reveals hidden ‘gems’ that most tourists wouldn’t be aware of. I am well-impressed. It’s free. If you’re in CPH, look for the green booklet titled &quotlaytime" at the tourist information office.

Use-It says they also have free guidebooks for Oslo, Rotterdam, Ghent, and Antwerp. They claim free internet and baggage drop (1 day) at their offices. Looks like they are subsidised in Copenhagen; the subtitle says "A non-commercial guide for tourists on a low budget." I can only guess they might get some income from room bookings, too.
