I am going to Austria, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Poland, Lithuania, Germany, Denmark, and Sweden in the spring.

Most countries I am only going to the capital, and only staying about 4 night, except Poland which will be a 2 week visit. I want to use Lonely Planet guidebooks but don’t know which ones would be best. Currently I have the Europe guidebook which is 2 years old, and Poland guidebook which is 1 year old. I was going to bring my Poland book and cut out the sections from my other book. Should I do that, or buy the new Eastern European book, or the new Europe book, what would you take?
