I am wondering how easy it is to find WiFi while backpacking europe. Do most hostels have it? Are coffee shops with free WiFi common in europe?

I am hoping to get to Croatia, Slovenia and maybe Greece this fall and since my job basically requires me to have an internet IV, I was wondering what I should be expecting.

Most hostels do not have wifi (if they do, they would probably advertise it on their website). Can’t speak to anywhere else though.

you can check the extendstay where you can navigate hostels in major cities whether they are wi-fi enabled or notSmile

Many McDonalds have wifi. http://www.mcdonalds…
I think some charge a nominal amount (like $3 for 2 hours), but you can often get a coupon if you buy something. Since they have decent coffee…...
