My name is Mike and my brother (James) and I are going to be traveling through europe from may til august. I’m very outgoing and plan on meeting a lot of great people while im there but i’d love to meet some people before we leave. any friends we can make before we get there will simply enhance our trip. so if you are interested reply to the post
This summer will be my first time in Europe. I am going to be spending a month in June for a study-abroad program, then I have a couple weeks that aren’t really planned out at all before I need to be in Switzerland for a seminar-retreat. After that.. I have no idea what I’m doing lol [&:]
What are your plans? Or are you just winging it? [8D]
we are primarily winging it. london france spain italy czech rep amsterdam. its kind of a horshoe shape pattern but we have the flexibility to really go anywhere.

I’m going to be in Europe for the month of June this summer.. 2 weeks with friends, 2 weeks, solo, just searching around for other people who might want to randomly meet up just for the hell of it. do you have any kind of solid plans on dates/places?

Going to Europe May and June. Starting in Amsterdam and working my way down. Belgium is having a beer festival that first week in May. Then London, and the eurorail down to paris, then Bordeaux, then Nice, cannes. After that not sure.
Just doing the hostels and inexpensive hotels. I have a feeling I am flying it solo.

I will be in Rome for a month studyin and then I have an idea of where I want to go (Greece, Spain, Paris, more Italy, Poland (auswitz) Berlin, Amsterdam, London and Ireland) but I am very open to going to other places too. Ill be in Rome from May 26-June 27 and then backpacking until the end of July probably. Nothing is set in stone so I’m very open. I might have a girlfriend goign with me and she is a blast! But I would like to meet some other people!

I’m going to Europe for the first time this summer! Going for June and hoping to stay till August. I might be going with with 1 or 2 people but I’m fairly sure I’ll be going alone. You all know how people are with the “Oh! I’ll come for sure!” then 1 month before they backout.
I don’t really have any concrete plans but i’m thinking of starting in the UK somewhere (since it’s cheapest to fly to) and working all the way down to Greece. Of course i’m willing to change my plans if I get a chance to talk to some awesome people before I go.

Going on my first Eurotrip may 14 – June 30…and right now it appears as though I will be going solo…starting out in spain and going to make a big circle and come back to spain (although open to changes)....25/m/medical student from texas..deff want to get a mix of big cities and some less touristy areas..hit me up…ill be around the forum until I leave

I’m studying abroad in Valladolid, Spain from May 18th to June 21 and then headed across Western Europe for 17 nights afterward. Madrid to Barcelona to Avignon to Paris through Belgium and finishing in Amsterdam. It would be awesome to meet up with some cool people while I’m over there.

Hey everyone, I’m gonna be in Europe for about four weeks, starting in late May through late June…not sure on the dates yet. Might be going with friends, but most likely will be going solo after spending 10 days doing London/Paris/Rome with family. I’m looking to go pretty much all over, Germany, Amsterdam, Venice, the Alps, etc. I’m looking forward to meeting people in the hostels over there but it’d be nice to have a friend or two to meet up with too. I’ll graduate from college in May (hopefully haha) and am really lookin forward to this trip!

anyway, I’m going to Portugal for 6 days (april 29-may 4) and am going to do Porto, Lisbon, and the beaches of the south…if anyone is interested, has any suggestions, or will be there around the same time let me know…..

I’m a 20 year old female Aussie girl. I was in Europe for two months last year with a friend but I’m heading back solo this time in summer 08.
This is the itinerary I’m thinking about at the moment, if you’re going to be around the same places at the same time and wanna meet up, let me know. Just so you know, on my last trip I was a hard core tourist, with a good 12 hours of walking every day, and I am now all ‘touristed’ out. On this trip I’m more looking for cool towns, with good people, good beaches, good food, with a bit of sight seeing but not as much as last time…

Lagos, portugal for 10 days
Prague around June 20th then head down through eastern Europe…. Krakow, Vienna, Bratislava, Budapest, Ljubliana, Dalmatian Coast (Croatia).
Then around the 10th-ish of July go to Ios, Mykonos and Corfu (greek islands).

We are traveling to Europe for the June 25 thru Aug 13 timeframe. We own an adventure travel company and will be guiding some of the time, but we will have time off in between to travel with. The areas that we will be going to are Provence, the Dolomites, Chamonix and Piedmont. There is also the opportunity to join a tour to Provence that we are running at a great rate. I will be transiting through Europe and plan to embark on a EuroTrip from first week of August to third week of August.
