WWOOFing
Wed, 11/01/2006 - 15:39
Hi all,
I’m looking into WWOOFing in Europe but am disappointed that I can’t find any boards where people discuss their experiences, or recommend farms and towns. It sounds like a great opportunity to learn about organic living, work hard but stay for free and get a glimpse of a different sort of life but I’m nervous to walk into it blind. So, if anyone knows of a message board that I am not aware of, please let me know. Otherwise, please respond with any experiences or recommendations. I would very much appreciate it. Hopefully this can turn into a great resources for anyone looking into Wwoofing in the future.
Thanks,
Kate

A friend of mine is going to be WWOOFing starting in January in New Zealand. I’ll check with them and see if they have found any information.
I traveled with a friend for a bit who had picked grapes and olives several seasons and mostly everyplace was much of the same. His one bit of advice though was stay away from strawberries, it was literally backbreaking.
