youth/student travel agents
Tue, 01/17/2006 - 15:02
my two best friends and i are traveling to europe this summer, and i heard that youth/student travel agents can help you alot with booking your flights- but, i do not know where to start looking for them. any websites that you know would be helpful, or if you live in southern california do you know any agencies

I had this one in my bookmarks, but I’ve never used it so I don’t know how good it is:
http://www.counciltr…
Madrid, Toledo
Dublin, Dingle, Dublin
Bruges, Ardennes, Bastogne, Brussels
London
Student tickets have both advantages and disadvantages, so before you just buy a ticket from them check around elsewhere. Two other options are http://www.studentun… and http://www.statravel… STA has branches near most universities. I’d read some of the threads here and ask people here for advice before blindly going into an STA office. I know the one at UCSB is often staffed by employees who aren’t so bright or helpful, and I’ve found cheaper fares elsewhere everytime I’ve checked them in the last 5 years.
Try Travel Cuts…www.travelcuts.com. But as someone else said, I’ve often found cheaper fares by myself, either booking directly with the airlines or using expedia.
