Hello everyone, been doing some research on flights from yyz to lgw departing anywhere from August 20th to the end of August (more preferable to the earlier) and returning approximately 2 months later. Through my research I have found Air Transat to be the best price by far. Using the ITA website, I have found a flight through Air Transat departing Aug. 21 and returning on Oct. 22 for $591 rt which is a good price I think but I am unable to find that price anywhere. The closest I find on the Air Transat website is Aug 21 – Oct 19 for $881. Or more cost effective option of Aug 31 – Oct 30 for $751. Any advice on finding that flight shown on the ITA website? Thanks a ton.

ITA defaults to USD unless you change the default city; that might explain the price difference.
I tried Canadian Affair and see $781 CDN using 18th out\ 21st return. Travelcuts shows nonstop on Air India for $2 more.
Alternatives: Globespan from Hamilton to Gatwick $284 CDN 21st; Gatwick to Pearson 19th 143 GBP on Transat.

Thanks for your help Don. I’m probably missing something really stupid here. I found the Transat flight no problem but when searching for the Globespan flight (www.flyglobespan.ca) I don’t see that fare. The only dates I can select are Aug 17, 24 and 31. And those prices come in at over $400 with taxes.
I think I checked Sept. instead of Aug.
Best I see is $410 USD for one-way on 21st Aug. with Air India n/s to Heathrow. Icelandair comes up $373 USD, but longer — with connection at Keflavik.

Alright sounds good. One more question, would now be the best time to buy them? They’re not going to drop in price significantly from now to August are they?
Heh, if I knew that for a fact every time, I’d be rich! I can only tell you what I’d most likely do for myself. Considering August is peak season outbound, and you need to stay > 30 days, the roundtrip for $781 CDN doesn’t seem too bad; however, with the flexibility you’ve got, I’d probably keep watching diligently, and sign up for fare alerts.

Check Iceland Air, I found flight to Paris the cheapest from icelandair.ca
Rome, Pisa, Venice, Milan, Berne, Zürich, Munich, Prague, Berlin, Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris
Europe Tour Starts from Rome on June 28
yeah, I started looking into Paris with Air Transat. Flying into Paris and then flying out of Gatwick works out pretty goot at around $680 r/y w/ taxes.
Thanks for all the help guys. Now just planning the rest of the trip
