Zeitgeist
This is a conspiracy theory film, it has been floating around for awhile now, maybe since last summer. I am surprised that Jboy didn’t come here and post it, or maybe he did and I missed it.
The movie purports to let the viewer in on what’s really going on with the man (men) behind the curtain: the church as a form of social control, that 9/11 was an inside job, international bankers are plotting world domination etc etc.
I could not get through the whole film, it’s just too much for me in length as well as wackiness. That’s too bad, because I am all for questioning authority (and have no love for bankers.)
Anyone else watch (and fact-check?)

So the film-makers are willing to trade one “conspiracy” for another? Sounds interesting. I’ll be on lookout for it. Was it on DVD, and if so, when released (so maybe I’ll find it in the bargain bin!?)?
updated=nevermind, got it: www.imdb.com/title/t…
Don, did you click on my link?

It’s right there, you can watch it at your leisure.[
edted for typo
I did click, but didn’t have time to watch—I thought that was just a trailer.
The intro goes on and on.
From what I saw, I think the movie asks a lot of good questions, I’m just not sure of its answers.
It’s one if those things I have had in my bookmarks for a while, but have yet to watch
ditto
I tend to think that Zeitgeist is another Question Authority movie, which is cool with me, it’s just that swallowing some of the movie-makers’ theories would be as difficult for me as “the Jesus myth” is to them.
People can be deceived by anyone and anything, including this film.
But I have to admit, I haven’t had the patience to watch all of it—nothing much past the dramatic intro.
I watched the whole thing recently
I’m skeptical about some claims, but not all
he is right on about the religion thing IMO
some of the other claims are not easily verified so it would be hard to prove either way
like most documentaries of this nature it is probably some truth and some embellishment
I don’t doubt that the filmmaker believes his statements to be true, I just think that he may draw some conclusions that are not at all verifiable
There is no hope.
