ARRIVAL FROM FERRY PORT GRUZ & CENTRAL BUS STATION Bus No.7. Operates every hour, 20min to the hour. You can pay on the bus (15kn) or you can buy bus ticket from the news agent’s kiosk (15KN). Get on the bus No.7 just outside the ferry port (directly opposite the Hotel Petka) or at the corner of the central bus station if that's your arrival point in Dubrovnik and ask the driver to tell you when you’ve arrived to COKOLINO (read as chocolino - some 12 min of bus journey). This is the first stop after the hotel Lero which will be on the right hand side of the bus No.7 after some 12min of your journey by bus. As you get off the bus at CHOCOLINO walk some 10-15 meters to the right and take first Side Street on the left. That’s our street, V.Maceka Street, and the house is the third one on the left. There are stairs leading to the white garden gate and there’s red Opel Corsa parked just at the top of the stairs. The house is No.7 (first of the 2 house entrances on the left). Alternatively, taxi will take just 5min and costs approximately KN 60 (EUR 8) ARRIVAL FROM DUBROVNIK AIRPORT Collect your luggage and pass through customs, you’ll get outside the airport building where you will see an ‘Atlas’ coach that will have an ‘airport shuttle’ sign displayed in the front window (airport shuttle to Dubrovnik downtown costs approx. EUR 5.- per person). When handing the luggage over to be put in the hold of the coach, tell the baggage handler that you are going to ‘PILE’ (pronounce as Peeleh). PILE is the bus stop just outside the Dubrovnik Old City walls. This is where you need to get off the airport shuttle coach, collect your luggage and cross the street over to the opposite side where the big street clock is. From there, catch the local bus number 4 (runs every 15min until after midnight in high season and costs KN 15) and ask the driver to tell you when you’ve come to Cokolino bus stop (pronounce as ‘Chocolino’). Get off the bus there and walk to your right for about 20 meters and turn sharply to the left into a side street. That’s our street, V.Maceka street, and the house number is 7 (the third stone house on the left, so you don’t have far to go into this street – usually there is a red Opel Corsa parked just by the stairs leading to the garden gate). Alternatively, taxi will take 20min and approximately costs KN 230 (EUR 30)
