DirectionsFrom Airport:The nearest airport is Split (service by easy jet low cost airline), but you could also fly to Ancona or Pescara (service by Ryan Air low cost airline) in Italy. Once there you will need to get a ferry or fast boat to Hvar. The departure times change by season; so please make sure you check with the local ferry operators before you fly!
By Bus: Walk into the narrow, stone paved street next to the Pizzeria ALVIZ. At the end turn right and walk uphill, passing a block of flats. Turn right and follow the main street going slightly downwards. Please note: Once you are on the main road, do not go uphill any more! You will find the hostel after 150 m on your left.
By Ferry: Hvar Town Ferry
As you get off the ferry, turn right (way from the square) and walk a little bit along the coast, then take a left on the first set of stairs. On top of the stairs make your first right walk for about 3-4 minutes, and as you pass the school (SKOLA written on the building) and a small little store, follow the path to the left, going upwards (a ramp/stairway). Take the path to the car road. Turn right and across the street you will see Luka Lodge, with a SOBE sign on the wall.
By Car:At the entrance to Hvar, turn left. The hostel is 150m on your left.
By Taxi: At the entrance to Hvar, turn left. The hostel is 150m on your left. Taxi is expensive and not widely available. If you need acre to help you with your bags, please just call or email Luka to collect you from Bus Station.
**Luka may be able to collect you upon arrival at Hvar Town if you notify him of your arrival. He can only collect by foot from the port, but can pick you up by car from the bus.**

At Luka's Lodge we offer you clean and comfortable rooms. The very best location, situated in a nice neighborhood away from noise but just 5 minutes walk from the centre of the town and 3 minutes from the sea and beaches.
We have one single room (but if your are a single traveller, please email Luka as he may still have availablility in a larger room for you), five double, two triple rooms and a 4 bed private with shared kitchen and bathroom. Almost every room has air conditioning.
Hvar was voted one of the top 10 most beautiful islands in Europe and is definitely the best place in the Adriatic Sea for summer holidays as it boasts over 340 sunny days in the year so you are guaranteed to have a sun-filled vacation. Some of the local activities in the area include sunbathing, biking, scooter rentals, boat rentals, island excursions, water skiing and sightseeing. The hostel is secure and central, within walking distance to the port and main bus terminal, parks, fortresses, restaurants, bars (Dj's, live music, dancing etc..); everything you need to see in Hvar is walking distance.
Our guests can enjoy the personal attention of local born Luka, who is always ready to help you (Fluent in English and Croatian) and knows all the tips, cool places to go and visit as well to hang out here in Hvar, and generally across Croatia.
