Hostel Mali Mrak Zagreb
Dear Nomads, Backpackers &Travelers!
We invite you to visit us in Zagreb, Croatia. Here, you will find a home away from home, as many of our guests have discovered before you. We accommodate and adjust to all your needs, simply and efficiently, and offer nice little commodities, especially for those of you who run on a strained budget (during the summer there is also a work & stay possibility). We know what travelers need and therefore offer: free computers and wi-fi, free laundry, sheets, towels and lockers, complete kitchen with microwave, TV’s and DVD players in the private rooms and common room, easy going check-outs with option to leave your stuff at our place until your bus or train goes etc. Awaiting you is a 24/7 reception (that means check-ins also), easy going staff, no strict house rules except cleanliness (we watch out for our hostel) and other nice things.
Close by you have supermarkets, pharmacies, places to eat and the tram station to the city center, which is 6 stations away, and connected round the clock, so you never need cabs (which are very expensive).
On those days when you don't feel like going out, stay inside, hang around in the backyard or upstairs and watch a movie, meet other people; in short: feel like home! Otherwise we can give you good insider tips for exploring the city & surroundings, there is something for everybody here, be you urban nomad or nature lover, it doesn't matter, we welcome you all.
See you in Zagreb!
Henry, Andriana & Igor
March 2010 Update: While we still serve no food, we have arranged at a nearby restaurant for cheap & good meals for our guests, with prices ranging from 2.5 - 5 € per meal. It is 300 m from the Hostel, right at the tram station that takes you to the city! Ask at the reception.
April 2010 Update: Please read
To the right is a column/checklist, at the bottom of which says:
'No tax included'
That means you have to pay the city tax, it is not included in the price (1€). It is a nation-wide, and you have to pay it wherever you stay in Croatia.
