DirectionsFrom the bus station:
The easiest way is on foot.
At the bus station – go right from the station and cross a large intersection so that you are diagonally on the opposite side. Then proceed straight ahead passing a church and take the first turning on the left. Walk for about 20 meters and then take the first turning on the right (Pelješka street) and look for house number 5!
If you take the tram, take number 7 or 8, ride one stop, then cross the street and walk straight ahead passing a church and take the first turning on the left. Walk for about 20 meters and then take the first turning on the right and you will reach the hostel. (We recommend that you go on foot so you do not have to buy a tram ticket for just one stop – it is less than a 10 minute walk.)
Railway station – cross the street and wait for tram no. 2 or 6 (if you got on the right tram, you should leave right from the train station itself. Ride for 4 stops and get off at the stop named Držiceva. Cross the street and walk straight ahead passing a church and then take the first turning on the left. Walk for about 20 meters and then take the first turning on the right (Pelješka street). If by any chance you can’t see our logo, look for house number 5!
From the airport:
From Pleso Airport, you can get public transport to the bus station and the easiest way to get from the bust station to the hostel is on foot.

The House Hostel is a new hostel situated in a quiet quarter of the heart of Zagreb, just 5 minutes’ walk from the Zagreb Bus Station, only 3 tram stops away from the Railway Station and 10 minutes away from the Ban Jelacic Square – in a word, in the immediate vicinity of all Zagreb's famous sights.
With a large common room, free Internet, WIFI, a large garden and a terrace for socialising – as well as its spacious bedrooms with balconies – the House Hostel is designed to provide the greatest comfort and most favourable conditions in a relaxed atmosphere that feels like home and offers a warm welcome to all our guests. Come and enjoy a stay in our comfortable air-conditioned rooms, bedrooms with balconies, a large common room making a unit with the reception desk and the dining room areas. On sunny days, you can lie on comfortable deckchairs and cool down with a local beer on the large terrace. Once you've woken up to the morning birdsong, we offer freshly made coffee or tea, the kitchen where you can prepare meals, and there are several bathrooms to get a fresh start to the day.
The hostel's staff are ready to answer your questions and to explain everything you want to know about sightseeing tours and events, advise where to go as per your interests and tell you the easiest way to reach your selected destination.
In the large common room, you can have a quiet moment in front of our plasma TV or use computers with internet access, socialize with other guests in a cosy sitting corner chatting, play various social games available or play billiards.
