“Hotel Loeven” is situated in one of Copenhagen’s most exciting and charming areas and still in the city center close to the train station, Tivoli, Strøget and so on. In the 1840’s “Hotel Loeven” was an inn called “Loeven” (=Lion). At that time Copenhagen was still surrounded by ramparts that made the country's biggest fortress, and protected Copenhagen from attacks from the mainland. The inns along Vesterbrogade were used as accommodation for travelers, who wanted lodging outside the city gates. Today “Hotel Loeven” offers a modern and reasonable alternative to expensive hotels for guests who want central but informal accommodation in Copenhagen. From the airport: Train to The Central Station From The Central Station: Exit through the main entrance, turn left into Vesterbrogade walk about 500 meter.
