YHA Land's End - Cot Valley

By car or bike: IMPORTANT: The only road access to YHA Land's End is via Kelynack on the B3306. Turn off the B3306 at Kelynack and follow the road through the farmyard and past the sign "Unsuitable for motors" - although narrow the road is tarmac and in good condition all the way to the hostel entrance. Follow this road without making any further turns until you reach the gate with "Letcha Vean", YHA and Hostelling International signs. By foot: From St Just walk past the library away from the town centre along Market Street and turn left following Bosorne Terrace past a chapel and recreation ground. Turn right down narrow lane passing cottages and old well. Where the lane ends turn right down footpath following signs for YHA. If heading north on the coast path follow signs to YHA from south side of Porth Nanven or via Letcha Farm from Gribba Point. If heading south on the coast path follow the road upwards in the Cot Valley (opposite direction to coast path which follows the same road down the Cot Valley) and turn right onto the small track at Rosewell Cottage.
