Astor Quest Hostel
Welcome to the Quest Hostel, one of the first Astor Hostels. It has been a favorite with travelers and guidebooks alike for many years now and can accommodate about 90 guests. If you are looking for somewhere you can call home - but also be up for a party - then this place is for you.
Staying at the Quest you will find a friendly, intimate atmosphere great dorms (mostly en suite) and with brand new beds. There are security lockers under all of the beds - and it is walking distance to great attractions like Hyde Park, Kensington Palace (Princess Diana's old residence), Notting Hill, the famous Portobello Market and Whiteleys shopping and cinema complex. The Bayswater area is full of friendly English pubs, cafes and restaurants that will keep you busy during the evening. Public transport wise, it can't get much easier with three Underground (Tube/Metro) stations around the corner (Bayswater/Queensway/Notting Hill Gate) and numerous bus stops, which give you access from all the major airports and railway stations.
Rooms at the Quest mean friendly dorms that range in size from four to eight beds, with a couple of twins thrown in for good measure. Most of the rooms in the Quest have new en-suite facilities. (Shower, toilet and basin) The other toilets and showers are located outside the rooms on ever floor.
Great fun for all backpackers, the Quest is perfect for independent backpackers and small student groups.
We don’t have a curfew so you are free to come and go as you please while exploring the city. There are plenty of bars and clubs in London and you will never get bored of the vibrant nightlife available. We provide a welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff who believes a hostel is more than just a place to sleep!
