Globe Trott Inns East London is a trendy and funky hostel and can accommodate up to 100 people. The larger rooms have newly installed en-suites with walk in showers and a tiled floor. All rooms have high ceilings, ornate fire places, decorative tudor style windows and are spacious and have lockers for each bed( at additional charge) Communal showers and toilets are located on each floor and Tea and Toast is included in the price and available from 8am-10am! Please report to the bar at the Boleyn Tavern and ask for the Hostel Manager. If you are early ( before 2pm) we can keep your luggage in our luggage room ...you will need to show your receipt and booking number for this service. The Boleyn Tavern is a well preserved beautiful Victorian pub which features in CAMRA's book of London Heritage Pubs where it is described as "one of the most spectacular late Victorian pubs in London". The billiards room is the architectural highlight of the pub with a splendid large stained glass skylight and an unusual decorated moulded frieze. The main adjoining saloon bar also has a fine stained glass skylight and some wooden partitions. There's also an original bar counter and some fine cast iron columns with splendid ceilings and original fire places. If you are looking for history you have come to the right place !!!
