Ashton House dates back to 1908 and was originally built as a women's hostel and then a hotel to serve Manchester Victoria Railway Station. Now a Grade 2 listed Victorian property.
We have a range of different rooms from newly refurbished Double's to private rooms that sleep 4 / 6 / 8 and dorms that sleep 6, 24 and 28. Our 28 bed is unique - 12 beds in this room are behind wall partitions, each partition containing one bunk bed, so it gives the feel of being in a private setting even though you are in a dorm.
We have vending machines for snacks, burgers, microwave meals, tea and coffee. We have a small lounge with basic kitchen facilities - kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge & freezer. There is no cooker!
This budget hotel and hostel is situated less than 5 minutes' walk to the Phones4You Arena and Victoria Station
If you decide you want to stay in Manchester on a more permanent basis then we can assist you also. We have over 50 bedrooms in the city centre available on a monthly basis
