Ashton House dates back to early 1900's were it was originally built to serve as a women's refuge hostel. It is a Grade 2 listed imposing Victorian property which stands historical, grand and proud. After many years as a hostel, the property was converted into a hotel, then student accommodation. In April 2010 Ashton House was acquired by its present owners and has now been sympathetically restored and the ground floor and basement now operates as a budget accommodation. The property boasts Plasma screen TV’s, 24 hour reception, 65 internal CCTV TV cameras, secure lockers, shared dormitories and private rooms that sleep from 2 - 24 persons. These are great for planned nights out including stag parties, hen parties, corporate functions including filming, school or university trips. Unlike any other budget hotel in the UK we have installed Massage Showers with radio, LCD lighting, seat massager with 2 different showers and jet washers. These showers are the best and most luxury on the market. They have been installed to leave you secure in the knowledge that you will feel relaxed, fresh and comfortable. Ashton House provides free WIFI throughout the full building including all bedrooms unlike most. The site benefits from Internet terminals also. We have small shared rooms, private rooms, en-suite rooms, party rooms, The bedrooms are clean and basic. Communal space includes TV lounge and a small kitchen. We have no cooking facilities other than a microwave. This property is situated less than 5 minutes walk to the Manchester Evening News Arena and Victoria Station.
