DirectionsWe are conveniently located close to the city centre.
By Car:
We are located on Bootham (A19), approx 0.5 miles from the city centre. Look out for a footbridge crossing the road - we just after this. Our car park is at the rear of the property; accessed from Burton Stone Lane. About 30 yards along, you will see a public car park on the right hand side. Enter this car park, and go through the gap in the back right-hand corner.
We strongly advise using the Northern Ring Road (A1237). Coming into York along the A19 from this direction, turn left at the Burton Stone Pub.
By Train:
To walk to us from the station takes about 10-15 minutes. On exiting York Station by the main entrance turn left. Follow the road past the Royal York hotel, and cross straight over at the traffic lights. Go straight on, and through the gate in the bar walls (city walls.) turn left and cross the river. Continue straight ahead to the next set of traffic lights. Turn left and continue to the next set of traffic lights. Turn left again, into Bootham, and walk until you see a footbridge crossing the road. We are on the right hand side.
Alternatively, it is only a couple of minutes in a taxi!
By coach:
York's National Express stop is at the railway station - see the above directions.
By air:
The closest airport is Leeds Bradford, which is approximately 45 minutes drive/train away. London, Manchester and Birmingham airports both have excellent train links to York, taking 2-3 hours.

‘Blossoms’ is located in a Georgian town house, dating from 1837. Formerly a private residence, all the rooms have been modernized with en-suite shower and w/c (no bath.) Run by staff that really care, the house has a homely feel!
For those that have work to do, telephone / modem sockets are available in all rooms (with reasonable rates), copying and faxing are available.
Due to the layout of the building, all rooms vary in size and layout - indeed; some of our best rooms are in the 3rd floor attic!
We serve breakfast from 8am until 10am to give you the energy you need for a busy day of relaxing! We offer a lighter breakfast for £4.50 or an even more substantial cooked Full English, including freshly sourced ingredients, for £7.50.
