***Important*** Please read all the information here before booking*** As we are a small hostel aimed at solo travelers and small groups, we do not accept groups larger than 4 people. We want to create a friendly, social atmosphere, that makes it easier for travelers to meet other guests, and find that with large groups this is not possible. As most of the bars and clubs in the area have a 21 y/o age requirement, we also require all guests to be between 21 & 40 years old *Please do not book if you do not meet these requirements* Warning: Not for the faint of heart. We are NOT located close to Brandenburg Gate or Mitte. If you're looking for a 'city centre' location, please don't book with is. He be graffiti, dog sh*t, rats and punk rock clubs - this is Kreuzberg! Brought to you by the two-time recipients of Hostelworld's 'No. 1 Hostel in Germany award (August & December '12) and Hostelworld's 'Cleanest Hostel Worldwide' in 2006 and 2007 for our other Jetpak hostels, here comes Jetpak Alternative! Situated in the so36 area of Kreuzberg, we're within walking distance of Berlin's most famous Electro and Indie Rock clubs like Watergate, Berghain, Magnet and Lido, in an area with cafés and second-hand stores. Upon arrival, our friendly and knowledgable staff will provide you with a large map of Berlin, information on all the main tourist attractions, as well as some of the lesser know sites in Berlin, such as abandoned amusements parks and Nazi/Soviet military complexes. We're flash packer certified - there's an iPod speaker and charger in every room, plus free broadband internet with the fastest upload in Berlin. There's Wi-Fi in every room and the common area, plus OS X computers with card-readers on every floor. Each bed also has an individual reading light. We have power adaptors for every country and you can call Australia, Canada and the US for free. Sorry, we don't have kitchen facilities, but you can support the local eateries - a Döner Kebab can be had for 2,30€, Falafel for 2,30€ or a German lunch for just 3,50€ *We don't have 24hr reception, so please let us know if you are going to arrive after midnight. But don't worry, there is no curfew!* *If the above booking conditions are not met, the bookings will be canceled or you will be turned away from the hostel upon arrival*
