Hostel Mondpalast is located in the heart of Dresden's multicultural and alternative artists' and students' quarter „Dresden Neustadt“. You will stay in a pleasant and relaxed area with loads of shops, bars, cafes, clubs and cinemas. Supermarkets, laundrettes, real German bakeries, a park and an indoor swimming pool ... everything is nearby. The beautiful Elbe riverbanks are only a few minutes away and the impressive historic center with all the main sights can be reached with 20 – 30 minutes’ walk or in about 10 – 15 minutes by tram. Explore also Dresden's great environment: The castles Moritzburg and Pillnitz and the so called „Saxony Switzerland“, A small but amazing mountain area, a real paradise for climbers and hikers. Our staff will provide you with maps and information. We offer very clean and bright rooms from a cheap bed in a 10 bed dorm to en suite double room with balcony and TV.
