The building is a government designated landmark and in some rooms frescos of the 19 th century where revealed from the earthquake of 1999. Frescos of the same period adorn the entrance. The Hotel is located in a residential area at the beginning of the old city of Athens (Plaka), on a quiet pedestrian street. In short distance there are parking. The Hotel is only 10 minutes away from the monument of the Acropolis, 3 minutes from Syntagma square (Metro station, express buss E95 from and to the airport) and 2 minutes from the commercial center of Athens (Ermou street).
