Mykonos Sightseeing
Although Mykonos is most well-known for its unprecedented nightlife and fabulous beaches, it also offers some wonderful sightseeing. First, get hold of a good map of Mykonos Island and plan your tour schedule. Mykonos Town is packed with attractions. The town itself is a charming place to take a stroll. After you have soaked up the traditional Cycladic atmosphere, visit the Panagia Paraportiani Church, the famous windmills, and the town’s museums (Archaeological, Folklore and Maritime). A visit to Alefkandra, Mykonos' "Little Venice" is a must. There you can have a drink or a meal and admire the magnificent view. On your map of Mykonos you should also find the village of Ano Mera, the home of the Monastery of Panagia Tourlianis. Close to the Mina Mykonos Studios and Apartments are the Well of Giannaros and the 3 Hellenistic Towers. Lastly, we suggest taking a boat to Delos Island, the open-air museum located opposite Mykonos.
Mykonos Beaches
Many people come to Mykonos because of the splendid beaches, some of which are known world-wide. Platis Gialos Beach is one of the best on the island, with soft sand, clear waters, and a variety of facitlies. Apart from Platis Gialos Beach, you can also visit the nearby Mykonos beaches of Paradise, Super Paradise ( the party beaches), Psarou, Agia Anna, Ornos and Paraga, all of which are located on the southern coast of the island. Near Mykonos Town, you can swim at the Mykonos beaches of Agios Stefanos and Tourlos. Other nice, quiet Mykonos beaches include Panormos and Ftelia in the north, and Kalafatis, Elia and Agrari in the southeastern part of Mykonos.

There is also easy access to the other south beaches (Paraga, Paradise, Super Paradise, Agrari, Elia) walking or by the little boats. Mykonos town center is ( 3,5 km or less than 2 miles) just 6 minutes by very frequent buses (during summer season).
